The National Association of Credit Management (Western Michigan) Inc.'s Collection Division offers members and businesses many services to help them control their company's bad debt. Highly trained professionals dedicated to providing our clients with quality service. NACM's experienced professionals exert aggressive pressure to collect within legal and ethical guidelines. All activities are tailored to your parameters. The NACM Collection Division maintains an aggressive collection effort that results in a recovery rate HIGHER THAN INDUSTRY NORMS. We are fully licensed and bonded in both commercial and consumer collections. The following are a few of the services offered: Pre-Collection Letter Series. This service allows you to take advantage of third party intervention without additional cost if the debtor responds. Three letters on NACM letterhead are sent out in ten-day intervals to the debtor demanding payment or communication with the creditor. Receivable Management Letter Series. This service allows account placements in bulk for either two or three letter series. These letters can be custom designed for your industry. The commercial letters are sent in 15-day intervals. The consumer's first letter serves as a 30-day demand letter. The second or third letter (if applicable) is sent in 15-day intervals. 10-Day Demand Service. This service allows you to give the debtor one last chance to communicate with you or the account will be placed for collection. The service can be stopped within the demand period at no cost to you if payment is received. Immediate Placement. When an account is placed for collections, a collector is assigned to handle all of the claims that you, the creditor, send to our office. You are immediately notified that the account is in full collections. We always demand payment in full and never accept settlements or payment schedules unless approved by you. Client Access Service. The client access service is designed to give our clients 24-hour access to their account everyday. This allows you to view your accounts on site and see efforts and money being collected on your account. This service also allows you to make comments on your file for your collector to review and act on. Attorney Referral Service. If our efforts are unsuccessful and we feel that the account is collectable with additional actions we can forward the claim to a professional collection attorney. Only the best attorneys are used. Again, the cost is contingent upon collection. In addition to the collection service, staff members are available to discuss collection techniques and offer advice on any collection problem you may encounter. |
