The primary purpose of Industry Credit Groups is to open communication lines between related businesses for the exchange of credit information.

The Industry Credit Group Department serves 6 credit groups consisting of credit executives in the same or allied businesses, selling to common accounts. Over 35% of NACM, Western Michigan's members belong to one or more of these groups. Group members must be willing to take an active role with the groups by attending meetings and contributing information to the group.

NACM staff serves the group by compiling factual credit information submitted by group members for discussion at the meeting. NACM professionals are present at all meetings to strictly monitor and enforce compliance with Antitrust Laws.
